Classic Era
WoW Classic Era Gold for Sale
Classic Era is vanilla WoW, kept running for good. Gold is scarce here, so each thousand you buy goes further than its rate suggests.
Offers on every Classic Era realm
Not on sale right now.
None of these realms has a seller at the moment. Their pages stay up for the realm and its economy, but nothing can be ordered today.
Retail realms have live offers: see retail gold.
Realms without a seller today
18 Classic Era realms have no offers right now. Their pages cover the economy and the faction balance; they carry no price because nobody is selling.
WoW Classic Era Gold: how this market works
Classic Era is vanilla WoW, kept running for good. Gold is scarce here, so each thousand you buy goes further than its rate suggests. None of the 18 realms here has a seller right now, so nothing on this page carries a price today. Each realm page still describes its economy, its faction balance and what gold is spent on.
Era never leaves patch 1.12. With no new content there are no new gold sources beyond farming, and prices have held level for years as a result.
Classic gold stays where it lands: it does not cross to another version or to another Classic realm, and there is no Warband Bank to carry it. Choose the realm and faction your character plays, and each offer shows its full price before you continue.
Typical purchases
- Epic mount, 1,000g — the goal it has always been
- A Nature Resistance set — needed for AQ40 progression
- Supplies for a full raid clear — 120–250g per raider
What gold pays for in Classic Era
Era realms stay on patch 1.12 for good. The only new gold is what players farm themselves, so auction-house prices barely move, and gold comes in slower than on any other version.
- Level 60 epic mount1,000g; 900g at Honored; 800g with stacked discounts
- The big one, then and now. It lists at 1,000g. Honored standing with your race's capital gives the standard 10% off, for roughly 900g, and a second discount on top can get it down to 800g. With no dailies to lean on, Era farming earns 50 to 80 gold per hour, so expect somewhere between eleven and eighteen hours of focused farming. Paladins and Warlocks are the exception: their epic mounts come from a class quest chain and cost them far less.
- Your mount at 40100g: 20g training, 80g mount
- The first big wall, and it shows up while your income is still small. When a character stalls in its forties, this is usually why.
- Talent respecsMore each time
- Every respec costs more than the last, and the price comes back down only slowly. Switching between a raid build and a leveling build means paying it again and again, and the total grows faster than most players budget for.
- Raid consumables, resistance sets120 to 250g a clear, per raider
- Consumables for a full raid clear run 120 to 250g per raider. Content gated by resistance adds crafted resistance sets and the materials behind them on top, and that's where plenty of Era gold quietly goes.
What Classic Era players buy gold for
Gold is scarce on purpose
No daily-quest income, no catch-up systems, no inflation from new content. Saving up is slow here, so a modest purchase stretches further than it would on any other version.
No patch cycle to time
Era isn't getting new content, so there's nothing to time a purchase around. What gold costs this month is what it cost last month.
Quiet realms, less gold
Some Era realms have very few players. Fewer people farming means less gold for sale, so the smaller the realm, the more each thousand tends to cost.
It usually comes down to the mount
Plenty of players do the math on the epic mount, see between eleven and eighteen hours of farming, and decide their evenings are worth more than that.
How a gold order works here
Four steps from this page to gold in your mailbox. Nobody asks for your account login at any point.
- Find your realmOpen your version, then the realm your character plays on. Connected realms are listed together, and each realm page names every member of its group.
- Compare the offersEvery offer shows its rate, the stock behind it, the minimum order and the delivery time. Pick the row for your faction and an amount that fits.
- Continue to the sellerThe order is placed and paid on the seller's own site. Your realm, faction and amount travel with you, so there is nothing to type twice.
- Receive the goldName the character that should get the gold. It arrives by in-game mail or in a face-to-face trade, as the offer states, and nobody needs your password or authenticator.
How this storefront works
Prices from the catalog
Every rate and every starting price is read from the sellers' catalogs when the site is built. None of them is typed in by hand.
Nothing listed, nothing shown
When no seller offers a realm or a service, the page says not on sale right now instead of showing a number.
The seller before you click
Every gold offer names its seller, the stock behind it and the delivery time before you continue.
Checkout with the seller
The order is placed and paid on the seller's own site, and the gold or the service goes to your character in game.
Questions and answers
What does WoW Classic Era Gold cost right now?
No seller lists gold on these realms at the moment, so there is no price to give. When one does, the offer appears in the list above with the seller's name on it.
Where is Classic Era gold cheapest?
Nowhere at the moment: no seller lists gold on these realms, so there is no cheapest or dearest. The realm pages still describe each economy.
Can Classic Era gold be moved to another WoW version?
No. Each version runs its own economy with its own characters, and nothing carries Classic Era gold out of it: not a transfer, not a token, not a trade.
What do I need to give the seller?
The character that receives the gold, its realm and its faction, plus an email for the receipt. Gold is delivered to a character, so nothing beyond that is needed.
How is WoW gold delivered?
By in-game mail or in a face-to-face trade, whichever the offer lists. Larger amounts are often split into several hand-offs, and each offer shows its delivery time before you continue.
What if the gold does not arrive in the time shown?
Write to support with the order number. The refund page explains how missed and partial deliveries are handled.
