A snail with big dreams
His mount journal entry is one short line about a big heart and big dreams. Getting him is less about difficulty than about patience. A Big Slick carry means a few days of snail racing in Dragonflight's Zaralek Cavern, since the friendship behind him grows mostly through dailies.
The path, step by step
- Get the Loamm Niffen to Renown 7.
- Complete three quests in a row: Off to the Track, Come Snail Away, A Race to the Finish.
- The Glimmerogg Racer friendship opens. It has four ranks below the top one, Professional.
- Train snails for Briggul, Glimmerogg's snail trainer, through his daily quests.
- Once you hit Professional, Briggul hands out Snailed It. Turn it in, and Big Slick in the City joins your collection.
Why it takes days, not one evening
Most friendship points come from the daily training, so each day moves the bar only part of the way. There is one extra source: Briggul also accepts snail battle pets that reached level 25 outside Zaralek Cavern, and presenting them earns extra points. Even so, plan on several days rather than a single session.
What the Big Slick in the City boost delivers
The Glimmerogg Racer friendship raised to Rank 5, Professional, the quest Snailed It turned in and the mount learned. Whatever gold and items drop during the run, the character keeps. Big Slick does not fly: he is a snail whose shell is covered in crystals.
