Nothing about this treasure is visible at first. The chest near a shrine in the Zaqali Caldera stays hidden until your character carries three stacks of a debuff, and the orbs that give those stacks vanish for a while once somebody loots the cache. Show up right after another player and there may be nothing to click, so you have to return later. That wait often takes longer than anything else in a Seething Slug carry.
Seething Orbs are spread around the caldera. Each one you click adds a stack of Insidious Insight, a debuff that lasts an hour. The third stack brings a message about a dark hiss coming from the northern shrine, and the Seething Cache appears. The catch: you need all three orbs before your first stack wears off.
Open the visible cache and the Seething Slug is added to your collection. The journal says the slug was pulled up out of its abyss by the fury of the Zaqali, and the treasure arrived with patch 10.1. The item tooltip notes that the slug's look shifts with your riding skill and with where you are.
We cover everything it takes to reach and loot the Seething Cache, and you decide whether to play along in self-play or let a booster pilot the character. Zaralek Cavern has one more mount on our list, the racing snail Big Slick in the City. Other collection pieces wait in the mounts section.
Click three Seething Orbs in the Zaqali Caldera while the hour-long debuff from the first one is still running, then open the Seething Cache that appears by the northern shrine.
It stays invisible until you carry three stacks of Insidious Insight, one per Seething Orb.
Someone looted the cache recently. The orbs come back after a while, so you wait for them to return.
Yes, self-play is available, and so is piloted play.
