A Gruesome Flayedwing boost brings you one of the flying mounts of Maldraxxus, and your covenant does not stand in the way: Venthyr, Night Fae, Necrolord and Kyrian characters each have a path to it. Two of those paths end at a vendor, two end with a roll of the dice.

Binkiros will not sell until you own this achievement, and it is an odd one. Mad Mortimer, one of the Path of Ascension opponents, has to fall while three of his ailments are on you at the same moment. A deliberate handicap, so the Kyrian route asks for a bit of skill before any anima changes hands.
For Night Fae and Venthyr players nobody controls when the mount appears, so those orders take a varying amount of time. The flyer itself is identical whichever route delivers it.
The mount journal says flayedwings are prized because they glide through the Shadowlands skies with no effort at all, which lets a rider drop in on enemies or swoop to an ally's aid. One price, no settings to adjust.
Its covenant twin, the Dauntless Duskrunner, shares all four routes. The War-Bred Tauralus, also from Maldraxxus, comes from the Necrolord campaign instead. Everything else is in our mounts section.
Yes, whichever it is. Binkiros sells it to Kyrian and Atticus to Necrolords, while Night Fae and Venthyr can find it in conservatory caches and Ember Court tributes.
All The Colors of the Painbow, an achievement for defeating Mad Mortimer with three of his ailments active on you at once.
5,000 Reservoir Anima at Atticus, after reaching Exalted with the Stitchmasters.
No. Those two covenants rely on a lucky cache or a lucky tribute, so how long it takes varies.
Yes, the Flayedwing flies.
